Kendal Industrial Park implements strict restrictions on workers and residents who enter the area of Kaliwungu. All those who enter are required to wear masks, including truck drivers transporting materials for the construction of industrial estates. Those not wearing masks are stopped at the entrance and given free masks as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Kendal Industrial Park security officers cease vehicles whose passengers are not wearing masks. Not only drivers, cyclists or motorbike riders who are not wearing masks are also stopped and obligated to wear them. They were then given a free mask provided by the project company in this industrial area.

Kendal Industrial Estate Manager, ‘Khoirul Imam said, tightening security of the industrial area was carried out to prevent transmission and spread of the corona virus. As many as 2,000 workers employed in a number of different companies are required to wear masks when entering the area.

"Supervision at the entrance is also an act of socialization to workers and residents to jointly prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus in their designated work area," he said, Wednesday (4/15/2020).

Meanwhile, Project Manager Radik Jaya, the development executive in Kendal Industrial Estate, Ibnu Setiawan said, his party was concerned with the health of workers and residents who entered the industrial area. Therefore, his party distributed masks free of charge to sand transport truck drivers and workers who had not yet worn masks, "he said.

In addition, besides the entrance to the Kendal Industrial Estate, Radik Jaya also distributed masks at a number of points to motorcyclists and residents who crossed the Kaliwungu north coast road.
