(Fabian Januarius Kuwado) SEMARANG, KOMPAS.com - President Joko Widodo inaugurated the operation of a new terminal at the General Ahmad Yani International Airport and the Airnav Watchtower Building, Semarang, Central Java on Thursday (07/06/2018) afternoon. "By saying Bismillahirrohmanirrohiim, I officially opened the operation of Ahmad Yani Airport terminal this afternoon," said Jokowi. Jokowi acknowledged, the government was indeed focusing on improving infrastructure in the logistics sector.

Thus, the terminal does not only accommodate small aircraft, but also Airbus aircraft. The total construction of the terminal itself reached Rp 932 billion. While the total budget needed reaches Rp 2.2 trillion. The new terminal of Ahmad Yani Airport is unique, which is built on swamp land. Therefore, the concept promoted is eco green.
