Meanwhile, in terms of developing industrial estates, Pelindo III cooperated with PT Kenda Industrial Estate to develop the Kendal Industrial Area (KIK), which included cooperation in logistics, port services, and other related services at the Kendal Port, which was prepared for international standards.

Based on a press release received by Republika.co.id, other partnerships were also established with the Surabaya Madura Regional Development Agency (BPWS) involved to conduct a study on the development of Tanjung Bulupandan Port with the scope of developing the area at the foot of the Surabaya and Madura sides and a special area in the north of the island. In addition, Ari explained, this regulation also wants to strengthen the position of the port red plate company as a business leader in the port work area. More specifically, Ari explained that the cooperation carried out by Pelindo III and PT Optima Sinergi Comvestama included the development and operation of the LNG terminal as well as the supply of LNG, the provision of logistics services, to improving employee competence in terms of gas management. Whereas with PT Gresik Jasatama, cooperation will be focused on optimizing log terminals and bulk goods at Gresik Port.

In his remarks, Ari also touched on the development of Kendal Industrial Estate development. Pelindo III's seriousness to expand in Kendal Regency was concretized by cooperating with PT Kendal Industrial Estate.

The form of cooperation between the two parties includes the development of development, operations, including funding of the Kendal Industrial Area and Kendal International Port. "We want to provide additional alternatives for business people who want to invest in Kendal and its surroundings," he explained. Pelindo III also paid attention to the acceleration of development on Madura Island by inviting BPWS to prepare documents for the development study of Tanjung Bulupandan Port, which is integrated with Madura Special Zone Development (KKM), Special Industrial Zones and other business developments.

For Ari Askhara, economic growth should be felt by all people of East Java, not only belonging to the people of Surabaya and its surroundings. "We are determined that Madurese will experience economic growth as fast as Surabaya," said Ari.
