Economic growth in the District of Kendal, Central Java (Central Java), experienced a significant increase throughout 2017. This was evidenced by the high value of investment in the district which was known as the City of Santri. Reported by the Central Java Provincial Government’s official website, Friday (01/19/2018), the investment value in Kendal City during 2017 reached IDR 4 trillion. That number exceeded the target previously announced by the Kendal Regency Government in 2017, which was Rp1.1 trillion.
The Head of Kendal Regency Investment and One-Stop Service (DPMPTSP), Soeparjan, said that the investment value of IDR 4 trillion does not include those from small businesses or micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
